Warranty

Bags and Accessories

We provide a one-year warranty on all our products. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects. These defects can include zippers and seams, among others. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from dye transfer, strain, an accident, improper use or maintenance and modification of the product. It is not applicable on snags. This should be normal wear. We reserve the right to offer repair, exchange the product or offer compensation. The warranty is applicable once per initial purchase, per item.

The backpacks have been tested to support a weight of 5 pounds. The handbags have been tested to support a weight of 3 pounds. It is recommended not to overload the product to maximize longevity.

To claim under the warranty, a proof of purchase will be required. In the event of a defect upon receipt of the product, the claim must be made to the retailer concerned or sent by email to info@lambertbags.com if the purchase was made online at www.designlambert.com within 14 days of the date of purchase. Lambert reserves the right to refuse to apply the warranty if the reason is deemed inapplicable or if a lack of respect in the communication is observed. The warranty is applicable once per initial purchase, per item. If the product to be exchanged is out of stock, we can offer you another item of the same value.

Sunglasses

We offer a one-year warranty on our sunglasses with proof of purchase. The warranty applies once per item on the original purchase and covers manufacturing defects only. These defects may include any issue in assembly or design that compromises the proper functioning or normal use of the product.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches on the lenses or frame
  • Breakage caused by impact, drops, or mishandling
  • Damage resulting from improper storage (e.g., excessive heat, pressure, or humidity)
  • Loss, theft, or negligence
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modification or adjustment

In the event of an issue, Lambert reserves the right to exchange the product or offer compensation, depending on the situation.

Caps

Our caps are covered by a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase, with proof of purchase. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects, such as irregular stitching, assembly issues, or any other anomaly affecting the product’s quality or durability.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Discoloration due to sun or water exposure
  • Stains, scratches, or marks caused by use
  • Deformation due to poor maintenance or storage
  • Loss, theft, or accidents

In the event of an issue, Lambert reserves the right to exchange the product or offer compensation, depending on the situation.

Luggage

We offer a 10-year warranty applicable from the date of purchase. Purchases made at our retailers are also covered by this warranty, but proof of purchase is mandatory.

The warranty covers:

  • Cracks or breaks in the suitcase shell.
  • Wheels, handles, and telescopic handles that break or become unusable.
  • Broken zippers.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damages resulting from misuse, negligence, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, or transportation-related handling.
  • Aesthetic damages or any modification to the aesthetic appearance due to normal wear and tear (including the interior fabric), excessive use, such as scratches, dents, scrapes, marks, stains, color changes, or other non-functional modifications to the product's appearance that occur during normal handling and use of the luggage by any party and do not impair the functionality of the product as luggage.
  • Suitcases used for commercial or unusual purposes.
  • Second-hand, returned, or previously owned suitcases.
  • Damages that we deem to be the result of intentional abuse, alteration, tampering, and/or modification beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.

In the event of a warranty claim:

If your suitcase is damaged during transportation (flight, train, boat, etc.), you must immediately contact your carrier to file a claim with them.

If your claim is accepted by Lambert and we have the replacement part, we will be happy to send it to you.

If we do not have the replacement part to repair your suitcase, we will send you a replacement suitcase of equal value. We cannot guarantee that the replacement model will be identical to the one purchased. The suitcase may be a limited edition, discontinued, or out of stock.

How to make a warranty claim:

For any claim, we invite you to send us an email at info@lambertbags.com if your suitcase was purchased through our website. If it was purchased through one of our retailers, please contact the retailer directly.

For any claim, make sure to include:

  • A photo of the issue.
  • Your proof of purchase or order number.
